I have started using Accutane, an anti-acne drug, a few days ago. I understand that I should not get pregnant so I want to use an oral contraceptive. I would like to know what type or brand of birth control pills is compatible with Accutane. I have not tried oral contraceptives before. Thanks!

Since you have to go to a doctor to get a prescription anyway, might as well ask this important question there. Make sure the doctor is aware you are on accutane. I'm not sure I would rely on online information for something as critically important as questions on drug interactions. Another good resource is a pharmacist.
