Hi Everyone! Im DCW74, mom of 3, approaching 40. YIKES! Im an independent contractor for a major telecommunications company; working from home. My life is pretty full and right now Im losing the battle against age-lol.
Ive recently lost 130+lbs, and Im trying to stay as young as possible, and my most recent attempt failed miseriblly.

I put a color on my hair that shouldve been brown but turned orange, I tried to cover it with darker brown and got mahogany. My mom said dish liquid would help take the color off or tone it down--Is this true?

Congratulations on the weight loss! Now the challenge will be to keep it off.

I've never heard of the dish soap solution. I would probably head for my favorite beauty salon and let them fix the color in my hair. You don't want to end up with purple or even with hair loss.

The mahogany sounds nice. Live with that for a bit?
