I was at a birthday and the whole group ended up going out. I was talking to this guy I've known for ages. We had a nice conversation at the birthday and on the way there. Once we got there he saw this girl he has a small history with. Anyway as soon as he walked in and saw her he went straight to her. They spoke for a bit and then she went to dance. He saw another guy talking to her and he dragged her away and started kissing her.

Later that night he also hooked up with me and she saw. He spent the rest of the night with me. Anyway last night my friend went to the same club and he was there. Later on she came with her friends and as soon as he saw her he went straight to her, basically gluing himself to her. They were hooking up the whole night. At one point my friend overheard them talking and he brought up the night when he hooked up with me and started apologizing to her, saying he was an idiot and he liked her. She said she didn't care but he kept apologizing.

Do you think he feels something for her? I mean she didn't even seem to care but the fact that he brought it all up and apologized makes me think maybe he does.

Does it really matter whether he cares about her or not if he's playing both of you? If you get in a relationship with him, will it be OK with you if he hooks up with this other girl on the side?

Think of yourself first. He's not acting honorably toward either you or the other girl, so I'd cut him loose.

I think he is telling both of you what you want to hear, so he can keep seeing both of you.
