80's animated movie about Gypsies??
Hi, I was REALLY hoping that someone may also recognize this one: I watched it in the 80's in Germany. It's a full length animated movie and in the beginning a baby is placed in the river(I think in a wicker basket placed there by her/his mother), a nice witch finds it and raises it. There's a gypsy boy and girl, I don't know which the witch raised. The witch lives in a tree, has a cat. The boy falls in love with the girl. There is a king in his castle with 3 daughters (all ugly or stupid I think). I remember something about a flute or something, maybe it was magical, not sure. There is a flood, I remember animals sitting on the tree house of the witch and so on. And in the end the two gypsies marry and a band of gypsies plays the music. PLEASE, someone must know it, it was my favorite movie when I was 6!! It may have been Russian, I remember that the credits weren't in German (I'm German and that's where I watched it, but they SPOKE German). I want to find it SOOOO bad!!
