    Rabies through food with saliva?
Hi, my uncles dog licked my cake and accidentally I ate some part of it yesterday, then my brother told me that I shouldn't eat it because. He believes that the dog licked it.. the dog doesn't have a shot yet, he stays indoors I believe he is 1.5 years of age... I observed him no unusual behavior, loves to eat and drink water... my question is can I get rabies on that? Or am just being paranoid? No bite though, I have a board exam coming and I can't concentrate due to this, my nurse friend told me that rabies can ONLY be transferred through a bite and no documented cases on ingestion of saliva my other nurse friend told me otherwise.. please help

I need an rabies expert or and epidemiologist and or the like with regard to this
