Hi I really need help with this part of my uni assignment... I need help because I'm not so sure what to include here as I'm confused between social media and social networking sites etc. If someone could answer my question or help me in any kind it would be appreciated.

Examples of social media includes, Facebook, twitter, Linkedin,myspace.. The process of connecting with others, friend, and family is referred to AS NETWORKING.. Social networking just emphasis the use of these social medias in staying connected..

By the way, Are you attending westminster university?

Facebook and twitter are more network than something more media like YouTube. But the lines blur on all of them, because people make comments and interact that way. Don't forget cell phone texting. Don't forget apps, especially apps within sites like Facebook. I do plenty of networking on Scrabble, which is an app on Facebook. I even network here, with fellow members I've become friendly with, and eBay, which is neither media nor network, but which has several discussion boards.
