    Child support paperwork..
My son's father is disable "mental illness"... He receives like 667 or so. Not to sure we been split up since the baby was 2 months. I put him on child support but he doesn't have to pay as long as he gets ssi. Well the paperwork clearly states that my son should receive $577 a month from ss. Well they [ss ] told me the father didn't work enough and the max payout is already being issued to my son father. Im tired of struggling.. I need help what do I do? I work full time and support him but I'm denied food stamps & medicaid due to my income. I barely make it each month and my son needs medical and dental care!! Help somebody

You need to see a SSI attorney who will be sure you get a hearing on the SSI

Work with the welfare case worker to see if the child should be getting any medical program offered

What state are you in? Also if he is only receiving SSi then there is no dependent benefit. Where did this "paperwork" come from stating that your son should receive a benefit of $577 a month?
