I am confused here. There seem to be two separate issues:
    1. You wife wants you to go away.
    2. You can't pay the mortgage.

As to the first problem, what she wants and what she gets are probably two different things. Unless she gets a court order I doubt that she can make you leave.

With respect to the second issue, I don't know what assistance may be available for someone in your situation. Perhaps someone else will have advice on that.

You have both applied for or are getting unemployment?
She can't make you leave unless you are violent or have other cause for a restraining order against you.
The house will be sold by the lender, eventually, if you don't make payments. They decide that part.
She might go on welfare, depending on whether there is any money from the house sale, and what the custody arrangement is.
You, who knows... you might get welfare, or nothing.
You and your wife seriously need to get on the same page because this is serious. Don't take your lost jobs out on each other or depression or drink or the children. If you both care about them, stay together and work it out financially.
