different questionnaires (two popilation) but one model
    hello dear,
I have a statistics problem in my thesis.
    please read the following scenario:
I have two variable in my research. The first is managers commitment & the second is personnel satisfaction. Each with different Likert items.
so we have two population & two questionnaire with different questions. One questionnaire for managers & the other with "different" questions for personnel.
I want to modeling between Managers' Commitment & Personnel Satisfaction.
moreover the number of managers is different from the number of personnel.
how can I calculate correlation & regression (SEM) modeling between these two variables?
whether it is possible or not ?
can I combine the data of the first & the second questionnaire & do SEM at statistics software, e.g. SPSS & AMOS? And how?
please tell me some references for your responses. Namely a statistics book with number of page. So I can use it.
    thanks for your response
