I turn on the comp, it goes right to a black screen with a blinky cursor in the left corner, I try to hit all the F buttons I have been instructed to hit, when I do it beeps violently at me and does absolutely nothing but blink and beep. I can't get any kind of screen of any kind other then blackness. It's a Toshiba Satellite C655-S5225. Help!

I suspect the hard drive or DVD-rom. But let's take a shot in the dark...

Take the battery and charger out and hold the power button for about 10sec.
Put the battery back and try switching it on. I don't believe this will work but it's worth a try.

Try to connect your Monitor & see.
