Hi.

I need some advice. My girlfriend is on her second month without her period. Over the last 4 weeks we have done 4 home pregnancy tests all returning negative. She takes her daily contraceptive pill and I use protection As well for a bit of extra security and peace of mind. From my evaluation all things are pointing to her stress levels probably being the reason of the lateness. (she's been a rollercoaster of emotions lately If I'm to be honest).

There's probably not much for people to tell me other than what I already know, it's just painful googling for such specific personal problems.

Is a blood test the only thing we can do next?

Yes a blood test to verify

Birth control and condoms are not 100 percent and plenty of women get pregnant each year using both. So it is very possible. We have an expert or two on here that it has happened to.

And some women do not test postitive at times to second or third month, but that is not common.

Is she testing with the first urine of the morning as soon as she wakes

I understand nothing is 100%. We're just very careful, I even go the extra mile to check the condom for leaks (with water) after use. (Sorry gross I know right.)
As far as testing has gone I recall probably two of them used middle of the day and two late evening.

Can blood test results come back same day upon appointment?
