My mom did something similar but I know for a fact that my Father did not pay one cent towards child support. Because SHE never told him where we where, his crime was cheating on her though so I understood both of their positions.
My dad finally found me because of the internet and we are finally reunited these last 5 years.
I want to add him to my BC and change my name to his.
Any further help would be appreciated.

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on another thread. This can lead to confusion. So I've moved your question to its own thread.
If you want to change your name, go down to Family Court and file a petition for a name change. The court clerk should help you. As an adult this should be an easy process.
Changing the birth certificate is another matter. The ONLY reason to do so is to establish inheritance from your father. But he can take care of that with a will. To amend the birth certificate will mean paternity testing and a court battle since BOTH parents will need to agree.
Inheritance is not the ONLY reason for wanting to do this my reasons are personal. And as I mentioned in another thread I have Autism so really don't need you people judging me and bullying me in open forums as it does nothing for me.
Both parents are in agreement.

Yeah where did that bullying comment come from? You posted this question under Family Law. You got an answer that dealt with the law. It explained your options.
I'm sorry if I didn't make it clearer but the only LEGAL reason is inheritance. I'm sure you have personal reasons and that they are very good. But those personal reasons will mean nothing to a court.

Do you have additional questions about that? Do you want to know what to do step by step?
Yes, a court battle is much to vague. The city is Colorado. My eyebrows alone prove my Dad is my Dad and my Mom NOW has no problem with me adding him because she has matured and is over her initial revulsion to his adultery ways.
You first need your dad to submit to DNA testing. Would he do that?

Individuals can change the father's name following a court order of paternity or by voluntary acknowledgment of paternity. DNA is not needed IF the parties consent. The people to give more exact info are the people at Colorado Vital Records.
No one is going to change the birth certificate based on how eyebrows look, by the way.
