We have a whirlpool 465 gas stove. We were baking and noticed that the oven had shutoff and was cooling. We pushed the bake button to re-start the oven and adjust the temp. It has happened twice in an hour.

You have a safety opening somewhere. You will have to find it and find out why it is shutting off. Is this stove vented? It seems like a place to start looking.
