My duracraft thermostat won't start my furnace but when I press the reset button on the furnace it starts and works all night maintaining the temperature I have set on the thermostat...

The reset button is a safety switch. If the furnace does not turn on in a certain amount of time it will go off on safety. This is to protect the furnace.

Need more info. Type of heat, type of fuel, When was furnace last cleaned and serviced?

The furnace does come on when reset button his hit.. I think you misunderstand question
