    Pregnancy Test
How soon can you take a home pregnancy test after you've missed a period?

A pregnancy test, if taken too soon, can give a false negative. It's best to wait until at least 2 weeks after your period is due, and use first morning urine when you test. Even then you can get a false negative. If the test is negative then wait until your next period. If you miss it as well, test again or get a blood test.

    Good luck.

The accuracy increases greatly the more you wait. During the first week after missing your period, accuracy is less than 50%, during the second week it increases to over 90%. So 2 weeks after is a good time.

Second week is great, I never suggest any date sooner than 10 days.
