    Concert basement floor uneven
I am using poreclian tiles in my basement and ran into a problem with the concert floor is a little bit uneven, but I do not wish to rise the floor too much. I need help what kind of material should I use to either level or lay the entire floor on..

Ok two things cause uneven floors, bumps up and depressions. If you have a few bumps I would grind them off with a side grinder, ear protection and mask. If you have depression you can fill with Thinset, buy it at you home supply store. When applying thinset use a very broad straight edge, like a 5-6 ft, to insure a flat patch. Just scrap it over your patch and allow to dry for a day.

An easier do it yourself method would be to buy self leveling concrete, it's a very watery concrete mix that will level itself bue to gravity and then harden. Any hardware store should have it.

Yep, that can work but not for the high spots or bumps but it is a good filler. Even though it is watery it tends to leave an edge about 1/8 in. thick. Thinset is nice too because you can trowel it almost perfectly flat if you have a straight edge and a good eye, maybe two eyes.
