    Working with nausea
    Hello,

I am 7 weeks pregnant today and have told my boss at work. I have been experiencing severe nausea for the past week and as the days go on it seems to get worse; I'm getting lack of sleep because it wakes and keeps me up.

I have been sent home by the first aider at work before, and I only work 3-4 days a week. But for example, I'm working this evening until 10pm, and I'm so scared that I'm not going to cope. I get panicky when I feel sick so I'm petrified as it is literally 24/7.

I work in a café, which serves toasties and other hot food. Even the smell of coffee or the chocolate powder has set me off in the past, but what am I supposed to do. I have a written warning from my work because I had a miscarriage (very long story) and I'm worried my other boss will think I'm taking the piss if I have more time off (it doesn't help with my mother calling me all day nagging me about making sure I go to work)

I would appreciate any advice you can give me, as I'm worried and stressing out.

    Thank you

I haven't got the answer to your problem, but if you are pregnant and bringing up that much, dehydration would be a worry. Time to see your Gino!
