What attorney do I retain for my situation. Evictions, fraud, theft, forgery, and restraining orders.
Depends on the cause of the problems - matrimonial, real estate, something else?
Or are these separate issues?
Well I'm I don't know where to start. I own properties and my mother has taken over everything. Ive done everything to get back control but for some reason the law is on her side. Restraining order is on me. Yes she actually went as far as to I cannot step 100 feet on my own home which she was a guest after my dads passing. My kids, wife and I are renting when I own a home she took possession over along with 7 of my rental units. Im financially hardship I can't even think straight anymore. I got an attorney in end of Dec. Since than I have no clue on what's going on. I email w no response to what I want to know. My mother collects close to 5,000 monthly including her ssi. I going on 2 years of this have than separated and there were management cuts from my job. Unemployment is done and to top that off the IRS is garnashing anything I make just to get by. IRS states that on record I have income paperwork says but my mom gets it and I've been to the police numerous times and I get no help. This woman commits fraud by signing my name on rental receipts, takes my income, takes my life, and I can't do or don't know what to do I thought having an attorney would help me with some stress but seems like I threw away what I had left to get by to feel even more victimized by what I thought was mine. I don't know where to turn without getting shot down .

The best you can do is retain an Attorney. An Attorney may very well be reluctant to step into the case now, this far along. If you don't get the response you need write a letter, send it certified mail, ask for a response.
First at the court house, whose name is on the deed, if she committed fraud and signed your name to deeds ( notary would have also) but you are not telling us how she took control
Yes $1800 to retain the attorney. And my name is on everything there was no other name but my fathers than he signed it over to me and my mother was aware of it said nothing till after his passing of course. And the way she took over was when I was in a management level job that left a lot of absence at home my wife at the time would handle the properties but due to her job tenants would just leave payments to her which started everything. Honestly, I never thought she would do this to me

She started collecting the rents while I was working. I didn't think amuthing of it since she was depositing it in my safe deposit box. When it came to annual property tax time. She would get out what was needed to pay them for me also when it came to my personal tax returns since I did have to pay. Now about a yr or so ago, I spoke to her that my family was expanding and since she stayed on with us after dad passing and months after my younger brother showed up for what I thought was a visit and never left. Didn't ask me and yes I didn't say anything but that he neeided to get a job. Well I offered to either she can take over my home and I would buy a larger one of course with the finances I thought were collected by tenants. Now keep in mind that was over 4500.00 monthly. She told me she didn't know what I was talkn about so I of course got angry and told her she and her son had to leave my house. So soon after she started with the restraining order which led to me no able to go to MY OWN HOME.

The reason this is important is that the attorney may believe he or she did what you paid the attorney to do. There is no other good reason for failing to respond to your requests for status updates.
And I am puzzled by your inquiry "what attorney would be best for my situation [?]". Are you contemplating simply kissing that $1,800 goodbye?
The answer to the question in the thread subject, of course, is that you should get a diligent attorney: one who completes his assignment for which he has been paid in a reasonable time. It doesn't look like you found one.
