Peek under the handle, take the handle off first. Look for a handle limit apparatus. Adjust it for more handle turn.

In regard to the disclaimer: this is a BRAND NEW house that I have lived in for over a month!! I have fussed with the warranty company for them to come take care of this so please don't judge! I already 'spent' a lot of money - did I get what I paid for? NO!

Kalmon, I have a disclaimer that is automatically posted when I post because I am trying to help people but since I own a plumbing business I must protect myself so I am not open to a liable suit. There are many things that a homeowner can do, but if you try to do some of the things I post and for some reason misunderstand my instruction I do not want to lose everything I have. If my responses to questions are not suitable for someone they should not try it. However, if my response is suitable and they are able to follow instruction, maybe they can try.
My disclaimer is not meant as a personal attack. It is meant to get your attention so that you consider if you are able to do the repair or if you should call a pro. And if you call a pro, then you may be more familiar with the situation and be able to better communicate with the pro when he arrives if you choose to not repair yourself.
