Aspirin is not what you take for heartburn! Heartburn has nothing to do with the heart - it is gas pressing up under your heart, on the left side of your stomach, which is the high part so gas collects there. If you have pain in your throat, it sounds like acid reflux too, meaning the gas is backing up your esophagus. It's a very common condition. Also called GERD, which you can Google. They are all related. Buy some antacids in your drugstore, take as directed (with plenty of fluids) and if they don't help, see a doctor. And change your diet to one of foods and drinks that don't bother you, something you will have to keep track of yourself. They usually include spicy and acidic and caffeine foods, but can be anything.
I say ALL this based on what you say here. If you have actual heart pain, see a doctor right away.
It's funny cause on my search for what this pain is from I kept thinking it was GERD but anyway I went on to the doctors the morning after this post since the pain didn't go away, the doctor recommended it might be pleurisy at first then an x-ray showed me (and him) that actually my left lung had a hole in it and my lung had partly collapsed. It was kind of scary when I heard about it first but I then went to the ER and got a thoracic vent put in and now I just got it taken out now I'm healing up good. The thing I had was called Pneumothorax.
Thanks for not only seeing a doctor but also reporting back. Very useful and helpful for others, I'm sure. I'm surprised you were walking around.
