    Troubleshooting
I have an A.O. Smith Aqua-Air Water System Tank, V60 and I'm trying to find out why the Pumptrol control box keeps tripping turning off my water all of a sudden.

Is this a above ground pump? Back to you, Tom

The pump is underground, but the tank is above ground. As for the control box, over the past week it has tripped 6 times. I have to keep resetting it.

What you need is someone with a Amp-Probe to check and see how many amps the pump's pulling. You could have a shorted winding or a faulty capacitor. Good luck, Tom
