Grandma giving her property to grandsons
My husbands grandma has 7 1/2 ac. Of property. She wants to sign the property over to her two grandsons, NOW. She is no longer living on the property and doesn't want the responibility of paying for the taxes and insurance any longer. There is nothing owed on the property. What would be the best and most quick way for her to do this? And through who should she do this? She is hearing to many different stories. Thank you!

HThe best way is to hire an attorney or title company to prepare a new deed and sign it over to them..

That is if you deed all the property to both. But if they want to divide the property, best way would be to have a surveyor come out, divide the property onto two new deeds and give a section of property to each, that way they don't have to fight over who owns which part
