Do you know the basic law for heat flow in thermal conduction?
whereis heat flow in joules/second (or watts) and 'k' is the material's conductivity in units of watts per meter per kelvin. The value for 'k' for copper is probably given in your text book. 'A 'is the cross-sectional area of the rod and 'L' is its length. Plug in the values and calculate the answer.
