Upon entering the house we notice strong natural gas smell but only when the furnace has been running. Had it checked by repairman and gas company with no results.

No gas smell all summer, only now that the furnace is running. Furnace appears to operate properly.

Panel glows, click of the valve opening, then immediately burners ignite.

Do not understand how the gas is either not burned or escapes since there are no leaks.
