    Furnace troubleshooting
I have a natural gas furnace. Took it apart to clean blower motor.. (took motor apart)
Took heating elements out and cleaned coils. All back together and works fine... but blower motor runs backwards..

Look at the wiring diagram on the motor connection cover. Reverse the wiring. I am a bit confused however.. "natural gas furnace ....took out heating elements and cleaned coils "_--in a gas furnace?

Heat and AC unit. Not mine. Goodman brand I think don't have model # handy.

Have red- black- yellow- orange- white coming out of motor.

    Unit diagram B to high
    *R to Low
    *BL to Med
    BR-BR to capacitor
    W common
    G ground
    Thanks for reply

The motor connection should show wiring for CW clockwise and CCW counterclockwise. Apparently you have one of those wires reversed. The colors you noted are fan speed and capacitor start, not direction.

I will try to find that on the control board.. can't read all writing on diagram.
Will get back to unit tomorrow.
    Thanks
