Hey my name is Alexa. I have hives/bumps that come and go every few minutes. Little things like paper, plastic, and even clothes set it off. I have been to many doctors and they have said that's not it. I get heat flashes and a painful sting in my veins. One doctor said my liver and Intestines are the issue. My father and the other doctor I'm not sure what kind of doctor he is but he gives oxygen shot checked my eyes and said that I had parasites inside my stomach. I don't know what's wrong with me. I have other issues though. Just little things. For example when I have something really sweet it's like my body can't take it like it's killing me and I just want to pass out. I am 13 years old and no one can help me maybe you can please email me back.

I'm having a hard time understanding your complaints and other things you've said.

First of all, I've never heard of "oxygen shots". In fact, I've always thought that if air gets into your veins - and oxygen is in fact air - it can be fatal, so I can't imagine anyone giving shots of it. They administer oxygen with a face mask and you breath it in because it's not really of any use administered any other way.

Second, the bumps coming and going every few minutes sounds very odd and a little hard to believe.

As for a parasite, I suppose that's possible. There are several parasites that can cause skin irritation and bumps that could be confused with hives. Are you being treated for a parasite infection?

And as for your reaction to sweets that sounds weird, too. Conditions related to blood sugars such as hypo and hyper glycemia and diabetes do not cause the types of complaints you describe.

Do you think it's at all possible that you might be imagining any of these complaints? Are you under a lot of stress or pressure in your life? If you are seeing doctors, can you not just let the doctors figure it out for you? Is your father a doctor - it kind of sounds like maybe he is?
