I had my bottom right molar tooth extracted on Monday (4 days ago) due to it being broken. I also have an abscess underneath the extraction which I have antibiotics for.
A blood clot formed straight away but now I can no longer see a clot. Am very worried about getting 'dry socket'
I do have some slight pain in the hole where the tooth has been extracted.
So many questions are: is it normal to no longer be able to see a blood clot 4 days after extraction? And is normal to have slight pain in the hole?
Please do bare in mind that I do still have a small abscess.
Any advice is much appreciated.
