I did not show up to court because of job related issues now I have a warrant.
I have a warrant and live in another state I was not trying to cause trouble but I needed the job. I got pulled over once and they gave me a ticket for a suspended license. I have asked for help but the cops tell me I need to resolve the issue where the license was suspended I can't afford to go back I have a family to take care of but I need my license.

You don't HAVE a choice.. you find a way to go back and deal with it...

You are aware just for driving under a suspended license can get you a year in jail some places... and it still won't resolve the outstanding warrant which never expires.

They can even detain you (put you in jail) because of the outstanding warrant.

Some things actually ARE more important to deal with than family, this is one. And the longer you evade them (put them off) the less likely you will be to get off easy.

And you WON'T get your license back until the ssue that caused it to be lost is dealt with...

That's not being harsh.. thats being blunt... you don't have another option.

No one here can help you. Try to tell this story a little more clearly. Why was your license suspended? Did you think moving to another state would hide the fact? Why did you get pulled over in your current state?
I don't know why you think any cops anywhere will help you. Their job is to arrest you for driving without a license. I'm sorry, but you got your priorities all wrong. When you are told to show up in court, you do whatever it takes to be there. Your wife will have to drive you to work.
