Reporting Private Loans to Credit Agencies
I am making monthly payments to a private source to pay for a vehicle that was purchased for me. I have paid on the vehicle for the past 4 years and would like to know if it is possible to have that information reported to the credit agencies. If it is possible, how do I have it done?

I had considered borrowing money from a bank to repay the remainder of the loan, but since this loan is at 0% I would be an idiot to do so.

The private source is listed as the lean holder on my title and my insurance if that matters.

    Squiffy
Is the private source a family member or a friend? I am not sure, but I would imagine only licensed credit providers would be able to influence your credit rating, could cause all sorts of problems if anyone could file reports about others!

It might be worth contacting the credit reference agencies to ask them, if no one here knows for sure.
