    Delay in period after sex
    Hi Everyone,
My Fiancée & I had sex and after 10 days she had her normal period.
Now, After that her next period is not coming its been nearly 33 days.
Normally her period starts around 26-28 days. We have taken protection during sex.
Kindly guide us what will be the reason for delay.

    THANKS,

Some women have bleeding during pregnancy and mistake it for a period. If her period is delayed by more than a week then it's time to take a pregnancy test using first morning urine. If that test is negative then wait until her next period is due. If she misses it, then test again or get a blood test.

Protection makes the risk of pregnancy smaller, but it's not 100%, even if you use two or more forms of birth control at the same time.

    Good luck.

Yes. It can last for as long as it lasts. A woman can have bleeding non stop for her entire pregnancy. There are women that only have bleeding once in a while, and mistake it for a period.

Two days of bleeding is very short for a period, most women have a 4-7 day period.
