Can a child take a parent to court who has stopped paying child support?
My father was suppose to pay child support and he did so till I was 12 and then he stopped. I am now 17 and I am going to university next year and the money would be really helpful for my education. My mom won't take my father to court as she feels its morally wrong now, even though they went to court in the beginning. Is there any way I can take him to court to get the money?

Nope. Child support is paid to the custodial parent and it is up to the custodial parent to pursue it.

Why does your mother feel it would be morally wrong for her to force your father to pay the child support he owes her?
