My period is a day late but I'm getting a brown light discharge for 2 days.ive done test but it said negative.are my chances of being pregnant gone?I'm 28 and trying to get pregnant.never had this before

I don't agree, 1 day late is pretty early, it is better to wait 1 week after you miss your period, to give the hormones a chance to build up, then use the first urine you pass when you wake up. Inm some women their hormones can be slow to build high enough to show positive on a urine test.

Most likely you are not pregnant. Brown discharge can be a sign of many things, including the early onset of your period.

Understand that "one" day does not constitute being late, even for the most regular of women. Please read the part in this sticky that explains the different kinds of discharge.

Chances are that you are just coming on your period.

Also, you don't mention your age, which can play a big part in your periods, as well as the different kinds of birth control you may be or have been using.
