I started my job in November and I love it the best thing I've ever done. But in the beginning of FEb I had to have an operation on my knee and I've been off for 6 weeks. Work have been fantastic allowing me to work from home so I will still be earning money, although I was still in my probabtion. My probation has now finished BUT Ive recently found out that I'm pregnant. Can I get the sack over having more time off? Will I get paid whilst I'm off as I've not been there too long.

Please help!

If it was in the US, I would say no. But I'm not sure about the laws in the UK. I would discuss this with your HR people.

If you are successfully working from home and they are happy with your performance, then you should be OK.

But its going to be very difficult to bring this subject up as they will know straight away that I'm pregnant!
