I you really NEED to ask this question... you are honestly ready for neither of those yet. That's not being mean, that's being serious.

Of course. If you tell someone you could spend the rest of your life with them, you're saying that you could marry them. It's not a marriage proposal, but it is stating that those are your intentions in the future.
