I started my period when I was 14 .when I was15 it stopped for 3 or for months.I have them on time now.I have never used birth control and I have tried have a baby for the last 4 to 5 months now and I'm still not able to.

It takes the average fertile couple 1-2 years to conceive once actively trying. Four-five months is nothing, and not a reason to be concerned.

That is so incredibly strange! With all of the pregnancies on birth control, I would assume it would be so much easier!

It is uncanny. The fact is, things have to be just right for a woman to get pregnant. Some women do get pregnant while on 3 different forms of birth control, and then others spend years trying, even though everything is fine, to no avail.

We have a long term member on this site that got pregnant the first time she had sex, while on 3 different forms of birth control, when she was teen. She knew she couldn't raise the child, and gave the child up for adoption. The hardest thing she ever did. Well, she got married and her and her husband decided to start a family. They spent years, and a lot of money, to get there. It just wouldn't happen for them.

It all depends on the timing. There's no exact science. In a lot of ways it really is a miracle, because everything has to be right for it to happen. But, it happens every day, and often.

The thing is, the OP really shouldn't start to worry until at least 1 year of trying. No fertility specialist will even look at her case until then.

It often seems it is easier to get pregnant when you don't want to. ( don't ask me why)

Are you tracking your ovulation though temp readings and the such to properly time sex?

How old are you, now?
