I started talking to this guy that I really like and he gave me his number so we can text (he does not know I like him). I texted him once over the weekend but he didn't reply and then I txted him again a few days later and still no reply... so I just gave up on it but when we were in class we were talking and I was like by the way I txted u like twice and no reply then he said I'm sorry sometimes it just doesn't go through. So I said ooo OK so should I text u later? And he said yeah and I did but again no reply =(. So I would like to hear what you all might think about it or what you will do?

Also 2 of his friends found out that I like him today, and I think they might tell him.

I think that you should do what we old foggies used to do before texting became the main form of communication. Call him on an actual phone and actually talk to him.

I would but its like every time I get on the phone with someone there's always awkward silence. Its easier for me to talk face to face or through texting. Alty what do you think about him not replying to me at all? I was thinking he just doesn't want to talk to me.

If he's talking to you in class, and told you he has issues with his phone, and that he wants you to text him, I'd say he's just not getting your texts.

Do you have any reason not to believe that what he told you about his phone is true? If not, then take him for his word.

But I still think you should call him. If you want a relationship with someone, you have to learn to talk to him, not just text. Personally, I think texting has destroyed relationships. Life was so much better when people actually had to talk to each other. But that's just my opinion. :)

I have to say, once I got over my shyness, I used to spend hours on the phone with the guys I dated when I was a teen. Once I spent the entire night talking to a guy I was dating. I didn't realize it until I hear the birds chirping and saw the sun coming out.

Talking on the phone, or better, in person, is so much better than texting. :)

Tell him to text you if he wants to talk. I don't know why people don't have conversations any more. That is sad.

Are you sure you have the right number? Since most people don't need to rattle off their own number that often, it's fairly easy to forget. Maybe he got a number wrong, or you entered it wrong. Next time you see him, make sure you have the right number, or ask him to send you a test text.

I was thinking the number might be wrong even though he typed it in its possible he could have made a mistake

It's also possible he's giving you the coward's brush off, and gave you the wrong number on purpose.

NOT saying that's the case, only that it might be something to consider.

O trust me, I considered that because That's what I been thinking the whole time.

I also want to add that girls like to text more than guys. Maybe he's just not into that sort of thing.

He has you number. Let him contact you if he wants to. That all sounds like an excuse to me.
