I have been having a sharp unbearable pain in my hip. I am 19 and its been going on for years. I thought nothing of it at first because I would be walking or even just standing and I would suddenly feel a sharp pain in my hip it would last 5-10 minutes and go away and it wouldn't happen everyday. Now I get it all the time and it lasts much longer now and is much worse. It feels like 2 bones rubbing together it hurts so bad! My parents thought it was growing pains but I'm 19 now and I have stopped growing. Can anyone tell me what it might be. The pain will come even when I'm sitting but if I start walking or continue walking the pain gets worse.

Have you seen a doctor about this? There is a multitude of ailments that could cause this and it is neigh on impossible to diagnose something over the internet. You should really see your doctor and maybe get referred to a specialist.
