I started my period a couple of days ago and my boyfriend bought some cheap tampons I've used this brand before but immediately upon using them my vagina is swollen and burning badly I was treated 4 months ago for chlamydia and doctors said it was all cleared up 2 months ago why is it burning so bad?

There's no way to know online if this is related to the tampons, chlamydia, or something like an infected cut or another new infection entirely. Peer at yourself with a mirror and a flashlight, or have your boyfriend examine you. Report back.
When tampons started being made of plastic tubes and polyester fluff, I was not happy, and scrambled to find the cardboard and cotton ones. That was around the mid 70s, I think. Who know what you might be sensitive or even allergic to?
