Gas range cannot be pushed flush with wall
We just bought a new gas range with a double oven. It cannot be pushed back to the wall because the gas fixture coming out of the wall is 1) too high by about 3 inches and 2) sticks out about 4 inches too far. There is a metal plate on the backside of the range that only allows for about 3 inches of pipe space and is too low to match up with the fixture coming out of the wall. Is there an "elbow" pipe I can purchase to get the fixture to connect to the side rather than in the front, thus lessening the amount it sticks out from the wall? Maybe that would work if we raised the stove by 3 inches? Any other suggestions?
