How do I not screw it up?
Ok soooo like an hour and a half my best friends asked me out! :) I had an idea that he would and I didn't really know how I would feel but now that he asked me (I said yes) I am super happy! :)

But does anyone have any ideas that could help our relationship be good and not end in heart break? We are both sophmores so were not going to have sex or anything but just anything to make our relationship strong would be perfect! :) Thanks :)

What does being in 10th grade have to do with not having sex, many do, and that may be a issue, soon if he has ideas about it.

There is no magic button or cure for this. And the issue when best friends move from friends to dating, since the odds are that a dating relationship will not last forever at 10th grade. It is common during high school to have several various boy or girl friends.

Once the move is made, someone asks or you actually date, there is no going back. So almost never if you break up, will any level of friendship be able to stay in place. Too many hard feelings and jealously happens.

So just date and hope, both be honest and be yourself

Yeah I didn't really think about other 10th graders but because of what I think is right and wrong we will not be having sex anythime soon. :) But thank you for the rest of your answer... I am just really scared that if something happens I am going to lose him forever... I have told him everything and he has been there for me and I just really need him in my life... Im exited about dating him but also slightly scared...

You are just starting dating. Relax. It's not that serious. Get to know each other, be friends with each other, take things slow and enjoy the relationship as it is. Don't get stressed over things past tomorrow.
