    Stinky drains
We recently bought a home and the drains smell horrible. It is very strong in the home when it is closed up.
We have tried liquid drain clean, along with a combination of white vinegar & baking soda in the drains & covered for 15 minutes, then flushed with very hot water. I am wondering what could be causing this? And what should I try?
    Thanks

Hi smelly and welcome to The Plumbing Page at AskMeHelpDesk.com
Any bubbling or gurgling going on when you flush or drain? This could be a open vent. Have you checked in the attic? They do have tests for a open vent, You run a smoke or peppermint test on the vents. Good luck, Tom
