Loud furnace very stressfull blower fan cuts out
I have just bought my first home it is 5 yrs old I've been here 6 months the furnace was serviced twice due to lack of igntion forst time I was told circuit board cash up front I said no 2nd time I was told ignitor is shot been replacd its runs smooth now until recently the blower motor cut out for a milla second while on 2 days in row I changed the filter it seemed to help... im wondering if its common for blower motor to break after 5 yrs considering the previous people rented and the furnace was never serviced. When the furnace comes on it's a ARMSTRONG 95 efficiency its horrible loud. We have a large unfinished basement bungloo style its below our bedroom. The ignition is loud the blower is loud. I find I can't relax now listening for the sounds it makes and waiting for it to break .So my question is how do you know your blower motor is gone or going
