I've got some history homework that I'm a bit puzzled with, I've searched Google for the answer to this question but none seem to be relevant, I'd appreciate it if you could help me?

1) The people who ruled England before the Norman Invasion were powerful English.. (Bet you guessed from the title,huh?)
It's 5 letters long and includes a S on the end (5 letters including S).

You could have thought of something else for a user name; the one you picked sounds really intelligent (not). Anyway, we don't help with homework here; it is in our forum basics which you should read.
