    Battery will not charge.
    Bought a new battery 4 my laptop. Computer will run fine with ac power. Battery will not charge.

    That would indicate an issue with the power pack or charging circuit

    Side note: If you own a Dell then its best to get a genuine Dell chager for your laptop. The reason is that Dell uses a pin in the connector. If it is missing then it will only run on AC through the adaptor and not charge the unit.
