My boyfriend and I have been dating for over a year. He ignores me, lies to me, lies to me about others, talks major s**t about me to his friends, and he does anything to avoid me. He makes up every excuse in the book to blow me off about any plans we've made, and gets mad when I confront him about it. I'm also pregnant with his child. Even though he knows that, he won't give me the time I need with him but still expects me to do everything and anything for him whenever he wants. I've tried explaining my feelings and talking with him, but because he knows he wrong, he refuses to listen to me even just a little bit. At this point I don't know what to do. I'm at a loss...

Is there a reason you haven't kicked him to the curb yet?

He is the wrong guy to be a partner let alone a father for your child. Dump him and let the courts help you collect child support, and set the visitations.

Who puts up with this kind of crap?

Yes there is a reason. My family and I no longer communicate and haven't for years. The only source of help I have is him. Besides, easier said than done. :(

I think u shouldn't be with him anymore I tell girl everyday " here my story so u don't do it also" I'm sure u can find help from someone that can pay your rent to your own place I'm sure there help out there u just have to find it don't stay with a boy just because u having his baby u have to be happy for u n your baby

I know that's the right thing to do but the f****d up thing is I'm still in love with the a*****e and as dumb as it sounds, I know he'd be a good dad.

I know where u coming when u say u know he going to be a good father.. This man I been with from the age of 18 and now I'm 24 and I said that's same thing he going to be a good father when I have this baby he going to be here more but come to find out all that shyt that I was thinking and feeling didn't happen and now I'm still here and for the new year I'm moving out and find myself as a person because I hate waking up hating my life I just think u should think about it don't think about yourself think about that baby and what's better

Alicia, I know it hurts, and what we have said hurts as well. But you have to understand that this man will be a role model for your child. If you have a boy, do you want your boy treating you and/or his girlfriend like this? He will because that's what Dad has taught him.

If you have a girl, do you want her treated the way you are being treated? She will because she will be shown that this is normal.

There are ways to get out of this situation. I'm pretty sure there is a women's shelter in your area that can help you.
