Canadian law on child out of wedlock
Son's exgirlfriend comes informs him when she is 5 1/2 months pregnant that he is the daddy... now delivered a baby boy what are my son's legal rights to his son? Mommy has not decided if she wants a relationship with my son (the father) and she is happy to keep taking money but getting a visit or time with his son proves to be a problem she usually makes up excuse or just plain out says no... what should he do legally?

He should not let her dictate whether your son has a relationship with his child. Assuming there has already been a court-ordered paternity test confimring he is the father, your son should sue her for specific visitation or custody rights.

He files in court for visitation to be set by the court, specific days and times. He also makes sure he is paying his child support though the court,

As noted he needs to establish his relationship under the law so that he is not subject to her whims.

This should mean hiring a Family Law attorney to establish custody, visitation and support issues in court.
