    Stats problem
How would I do this question?

A statistics instructor was interested in investigating the time of day his lectures were being held on students’ test scores. He selected a sample of 15 students from his morning (n = 7) and evening (n = 8) statistics classes and recorded their midterm and final exam scores as shown below. He was interested in examining whether students performed better in the morning compared to evening classes on their final exam scores. He also suspected poorer performance on the final exam compared to the midterm among those attending the morning class.

    Morning Evening
    Midterm Final Midterm Final
    80 59 62 40
    80 64 70 45
    75 65 80 55
    92 70 78 55
    78 67 84 60
    79 58 64 70
    69 79 84 60
    70 63
The instructor was also curious to know what type of exam the students preferred to receive in the course (either multiple choice or short answer). He observed that in the morning class, 6 students preferred multiple choice exams and in the evening class, 2 students preferred multiple choice exams. Does he have evidence that 50% of the students preferred multiple choice exams in the evening class? Finally, can the instructor conclude that there is a relation between test type preference and time of class? If yes, please measure the strength of the relation.

Note: Please make sure to write the hypotheses for each of tests conducted and show all work including all the steps necessary (with formulas as well as any figures/graphs needed)

Your help will be very appreciated,
    Thank You!
