    When does parental liabillity end
21 year old daughter living in MN, away from me in SD, and was attending college but isn't no more. Still has old car registered to me and I have registered and insured with liability coverage. She lost her license recently from DUI. She says not, but we think she probably is still driving without license. Beyond policy insurance limits, am I in any way still liable for damages she may cause in an accident? Like, can someone still sue me from her adult actions? For that matter, can I ever be sued for an accident caused by a driver of a vehicle owned by me, but not being driven by me?

You are liable for any accident while she is driving that car because you are paying the insurance premiums. However, the charges to her are her's alone, should she kill someone while driving under the influence. I would suggest you look at getting that car back and out of her possession with your insurance on it.

Your sanity, livelihood and well being depend on doing that :)

She sounds like a ticking time bomb.
