You cannot hunt with a gun as you are federally prohibited from owning or even touching one if you are a felon. There is no federal law keeping you away from a bow and arrow... though I have to say, if your PO says no, is it wise to go against him?

Myself, I can't see why he would say no bow but you have to think about the consequences.

    Hello j:

The first thing you learn when you're under supervision, is NEVER ask if you can DO something... The answer will ALWAYS be NO! Predictably, your PO is making it up as he goes along. Odinn is correct. There's NO law that says a felon can't hunt with a bow.

The question is, what are YOU going to do about it.
