    Yes you were convicted of the crime, the plea in reality only stops a civil suit from using this as evidence of guilt. You are pleading that there is too much evidence, You are not claiming guilt but allowing to be sentenced as is guilty.

    It is treated as guilty and conviction in all other aspects. And will show up as conviction background checks. * based on US

    Chuck thanks for the advice, even if the case was throwed out, the prosecution decided not to pursue

    It can not be both, either you plead Nolle or the case was thrown out, If the case was thrown out without the plea being entered and accepted. Then there is no conviction, case was dismissed.

    The case was dismissed. But my record says nolle prosec. I didn't plea Nolle.

    This is the exact question. Have you ever been convicted* of any crime involving dishonesty beach of trust fraud theft money laundering or illegal manufacture sale distribution of trafficking in controlled substances. *convicted includes a plea of guilty nolo contendre, no contest, our similar plea, or participation in a pre trail diversion or deferred judgment program even it the program was completed and charges dismissed. Description of charge was. Theft by deception. Dispostion of case was Nolle Prosequi I answer the question as NO. Was that the correct answer.
